'Three Stars' by Eddie Cochran (1959). He sang this to honor Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. 'The Big Bopper' Richardson. They died in the famous/infamous 1959 Iowa plane crash.

            I put together the pictures, videos, and song.  Eddie is the last part of the video.  Unfortunately, he died the following year in England (the cab driver was going to fast, crashed, and Eddie was thrown from the car).   Cochran created many great songs; a prolific/talented singer & guitarist who was only 21 years old at death.  He was friends with the three guys who died in the 1959 Iowa plane crash (unqualified 21 year-old pilot flying into a blizzard at night).  These deaths were just the start of many rock 'n roll deaths that basically involved rushing in between gigs and crashing.
