            After spending the morning around Samarkand looking at the amazing sights the city has to offer we headed to the outskirts of the city to try our luck with some trains. The weather was very changeable and by this point we thought we were going to get soaked.... Thankfully the rain missed us. 
Here 2O'ZELR-0411, a massive Chinese built twin section hauls a mixed freight towards Samarkand, showing off it's CoCo+CoCo wheel format. The more observant person will note that the majority of Soviet and Russian designs have BoBo+BoBo axles.
