Peugeot 205 - Flying a strong number!

            Almost back home from the British Car Club Day, we had this enthusiastically driven 205 behind us for a while. 
At some point the driver lost it's patience with traffic being stuck at the speed limit so he changed down a gear or two and went for it! Only 4 cars to overtake! 
The good thing is, you can drive a 205 1.1 flat out just about everywhere =) He seemed to be well aware of this fact.

Don't try this with a modern Suzuki Alto or a VW Up or any other modern supermini for that matter, they're not made like this... You'll break your back and very likely one or more parts of your car as well ;-) 
And well, don't try overtaking 4 cars at once on a road like this anyway... That in itself is quite a stupid and dangerous move...

But yeah... This picture does perfectly reflect why I believe PSA Supermini's from the 80's and 90's are superior to any supermini today... They have the suspension travel, comfortable shock absorbers and ground clearance needed to pull stunts like this without breaking anything =)
I miss my old Saxo when I look at this...

I still had my camera ready for action as a passenger... But don't ask me how I managed to time this shot... Neither of us actually noticed it got airborne until we looked at the pictures... XD 

Must be my lucky shot of the year...?!
