Dans les rizières de Vang-Vieng - a photo on Flickriver

            Vang-Vieng (Laos) - Les deux photos aujourd’hui ont été prises en milieu d’après midi du troisième et dernier jour de mon séjour à Vang-Vieng. J’ai profité d’un bref arrêt de la pluie pour me rendre sur un petit marché où l’on m’avait indiqué que les spécialités étaient des animaux sauvages destiné à la cuisine locale : chauves-souris, écureuils, grenouilles et crapauds buffles, serpents d’eau, oiseaux en tous genres etc. Pas de pangolins cependant. En tout cas, je n’en ai pas vu.
En marchant vers ce petit marché paysan, situé à l’extérieur de la ville j’ai traversé ces rizières en cours de plantation. 

Comme il avait plu toute la nuit et la matinée, le ciel était très nuageux. Mais j’ai eu la chance de bénéficier de quelques rayons de soleil qui tentaient désespérément de percer les nuages, m’offrant une lumière irréelle. 
Cette lumière peut laisser penser que j’ai passé mes images aux filtres d’un post-traitement poussé. Il n’en est rien. J’ai même dû « refroidir » les teintes naturelles chaleureuses de la photo, renforcées par le capteur de mon Nikon D 800 dont le réglage-usine a une fâcheuse tendance à forcer sur le «jaune». Dominante qui reste présente sur les épreuves finales, mais qui correspond à la réalité du moment.
Si Vang-Vieng reste une destination touristique très prisée, le paysage reste grandiose. La preuve par l’image. En évitant la pleine saison et en prenant quelques chemins de traverse, il est encore possible de tomber sur des scènes locale authentiques.


In the rice fields of Vang-Vieng

Vang-Vieng (Laos) - Today's two photos were taken in the middle of the afternoon of the third and final day of my presence in Vang-Vieng. I took advantage of a brief stop in the rain to go to a small market where I had been told that the specialties were wild animals for the local cuisine: bats, squirrels, frogs and buffalo toads, water snakes, birds of all kinds etc. No pangolins though. Anyway, I haven't seen any.
While walking towards this small farmer's market, located outside the city, I passed through these rice fields being planted.
As it had rained all night and morning, the sky was very cloudy. But I was fortunate enough to benefit from a few rays of sun that desperately tried to pierce the clouds, giving me an unreal light.
This light may suggest that I passed my images through extensive post-processing filters. It is not so. I even had to reduce the warm natural tones of the photo, reinforced by the sensor of my Nikon D 800, the factory setting of which has an annoying tendency to force on "yellow". Dominant which remains present in the final rounds, but which corresponds to the reality of the moment.
If Vang-Vieng remains a popular tourist destination, the landscape remains grandiose. By avoiding the high season and taking a few short cuts, it is still possible to come across genuine local scenes.
