Le voilier mexicain tient le devant de la scène

            Rouen (France) - l’Armanda de Rouen(8-18 juin 2023) est l’un des plus grands rassemblements de voiliers. La première édition remonte à 1989.  Comme à chaque rendez-vous sur les quais de Rouen, c’est le Cuauhtémoc -du nom du dernier empereur aztèque-, un navire-école mexicain, qui tient le devant de la scène. Depuis la première édition, ce 3 mâts-barque, long de 90,50 mètres hors-tout, reste le préféré des visiteurs. Il faut dire que les 109 hommes et femmes d’équipage assurent un spectacle permanent.  Sur les deux photos présentées aujourd’hui, les marins démontent une passerelle. Une manœuvre pas vraiment utile mais qui attire les badauds et de nombreux photographes.

Rouen (France) - the Armanda de Rouen (June 8-18, 2023) is one of the largest gatherings of sailing boats. The first edition dates back to 1989. As at every meeting on the quays of Rouen, it is the Cuauhtemoc -named after the last Aztec emperor-, a Mexican training ship, which takes the limelight. Since the first edition, this 3-masted boat, 90.50 meters long overall, remains the favorite of visitors. It must be said that the 109 men and women of the crew ensure a permanent spectacle. In the two photos presented today, the sailors dismantle a footbridge. A not really useful maneuver but which attracts onlookers and many photographers.
