CFNR and the blooming almonds

            South of Orland near County Road 24 in the Sacramento Valley, the CNFR passes between eucalyptus on the west and almond trees blooming on the east of the right-of-way.  The single Genset is hauling its remaining cars north where the crew will stash them for the night near Wyo before heading on to Corning where they will tie up. Tomorrow these cars will be delivered to their customers as they switch out the empties or loads on their way back south to meet the south half of the operation near Willows.
