Lost in the glades of Burnham Beeches, Buckinghamshire

Perhaps slightly dark, but I like the mood.
I decided to leave any of the major paths and strike out on the tiny dotted lines that show up on my OS map. It made for a bit of a scramble as whole trees or just their branches are left to rot in situ where they fall, and there are many more trip-hazards hidden in the thick layers of fallen leaves, but it did mean I never saw another soul until back on the main paths.
