Viking Askim Rubber goods factory
Shoe factory in Askim, Østfold. Manufacturer of galoshes, rubber boots, and from 1931 car tires under the brand name Viking, bicycle tires, hoses and other technical industrial products. The company took over rubber goods factories in Mjøndalen in 1932 and in Stavanger in 1938 and gradually became one of Norway's largest industrial companies.
