            The author expresses: “Plastic Breakthrough" is a painting I have been thinking about creating for many years. In 2017 Norway really opened its eyes to all the plastic pollution. They found a whale stranded and when they opened its stomach it was full of plastic waste. Plastic invades our fjords, killing our wildlife. This was the final drop, I had to start the painting. The woman is breaking through the plastic, tearing it up. She is finally breaking free from it.

La autora expresa: "Plastic Breakthrough" es una pintura que he estado pensando en crear durante muchos años. En 2017, Noruega realmente abrió los ojos a toda la contaminación plástica. Encontraron una ballena varada y cuando abrieron el estómago estaba lleno de desechos plásticos. El plástico invade nuestros fiordos, matando nuestra vida salvaje.
