The Garib Rath legacy

            12208 Jammu Tawi - Kathgodam Garib Rath speeds through Dhandera, heading toward Laksar on a sunny yet foggy February morning.

This Garib Rath was always a personal favorite to spot, being one of the rare premium trains on this section.

Now upgraded with LHB coaches for enhanced travel safety, the iconic green charm of the original Garib Rath has sadly become a thing of the past.

Leading the charge is Ghaziabad’s white stallion, WAP-7 #30652, gracefully taking the train forward. It was earlier homed at TKD. As of today, it belongs to BGKT.
