Chopper to the Summit Tour

            C5 and C1 are preparing to set off for Mount Victoria from Strathfield with the first portion of the SETS 'Chopper to the Summit Tour'. This also doubled as a form of final farewell for these faithful sets, having served Sydney for approximately 35 years. 

After running empty to Central and sitting there for several hours, the train arrived empty at Strathfield at 1104 to commence the tour as run 880C. The first destination was Mount Victoria, which was the first time that any silver suburban set had made it that far out west. On the way back, the train went down to Fairfield before returning back to Strathfield. From there, it headed north to Hawkesbury River and returned thereafter to finish off the tour.
