Streik sei Dank ! Und ein lichter Moment

            Wegen des mehrtägigen Bahn-Streik im Januar 2024 gab es zur Sicherung des Stahlverkehrs zwischen Beverwijk (NL) und Hagen / Westf. zwei Sonderzüge. Kurzerhand wurden dazu die neuen Rail Release Wagen für die Verkehre Beverwijk - Nymburg (CZ) eingesetzt. Die Bespannung übernahmen Euro 9000 (2019 302) von RFO mit frischer NL-Zulassung. Für die Rückfahrt wurde sich bei Merrhoog auf die Lauer gelegt. Nach einigen Sichtungsmeldungen war klar, er kommt über Emmerich! Die Wolkenfront von Westen war 40 Min. vor Sonnenuntergang schon dicht. Zudem kamen später gemeldete Züge zuvor. Kurz vor dem Zug, der in Wesel auf die Seite gegangen war, gab es aber wie bestellt für wenige Minuten ein lichten Sonnenstreifen. Ein weiterer Sonderzug fuhr Tage später nochmals in Tagesrandlagen, aber hin und zurück über Bad Bentheim.

Thank you for the strike! ... and a bright moment
Due to the rail strike lasting several days in January 2024, there were two special trains to secure steel traffic between Beverwijk (NL) and Hagen / Westphalia. The new rail release wagons were quickly used for the Beverwijk - Nymburg (CZ) traffic. The covering was taken over by Euro 9000 (2019 302) from RFO with fresh NL approval. For the return journey we lay in wait near Merrhoog. After a few reports of sightings it was clear that he was coming via Emmerich! The cloud front from the west was already thick 40 minutes before sunset. In addition, trains reported later came beforehand. Shortly before the train, which had pulled over in Wesel, there was, as expected, a clear strip of sunshine for a few minutes. Days later, another special train ran completely via Bad Bentheim on the edge of the day.
