Here's a shot from a spot I have wanted to visit for awhile. The Mexico Midwest Express with a duo of special locomotives snakes through the picturesque curves south of Laredo.

I have always been jealous of other states like Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas for views like this. A clean S curve with no vegetation blocking the view is super hard to find in the Show-Me State. When I saw some folks shoot the steamer here about 1.5 years ago, I have always wanted to get up to this spot. With a full day free, I was able to venture up here. I believe we can thank CPKC for this view as they got rid of the vegetation while extending the Laredo siding. While the locomotives (especially the 7020) are pretty dirty, being able to shoot a nice curve like this makes up for the poorly cleaned locomotives.

After this, I was a able to shoot it a few more time between here and shot from Elmira that I recently posted.
