THE STRONGEST AURORA SINCE 2003: Even this is the reality!

            A week ago, the strongest aurora for the last twenty years occurred in the sky. While it was clear in almost the whole of central Europe, clouds rolled into the northern Czech Republic... although some prediction models did not even mention it. Moreover, the CME was expected to arrive more likely in the morning hours. So I stayed home saying I would catch it even from here if it would occur actually. But now I know you can't be sure anytime.

Eventually, people were writing on social media that it was visible already after dusk as the CME arrived earlier. I just ran up to the 7th floor and I could hardly believe my eyes. It was overcast all around except for a gap on the northern horizon! What a blessing in disguise!

And it was visible even to the naked eye - in one moment, even a pinkish color was visible! Unfortunately, I went to bed at midnight, before the second, stronger round came.

Hopefully, we will see another similar show soon and it will be really clear!
