CZ - Nové Sedlo u Lokte - ČD 242 213

            EN: The Nové Sedlo u Lokte railway station in northern Bohemia still looks mostly unchanged since the fall of the Iron Curtain with its socialist charm. It has two island platforms and a really big freight siding being mostly used by coal trains. The station doesn't see that many passengers and many fast trains pass through without scheduled stops. One of these is Sp 1678 "Cyklo Ohře" from Karlovy Vary to Cheb pulled by 242 213, which was speeding past the platforms on August 11th, 2024.

DE: Der Bahnhof Nové Sedlo u Lokte versprüht noch weitestgehend den originalen Charme der sozialistischen Zeit. Er besteht aus zwei Inselbahnsteigen und vielen Ausweichgleisen, die hauptsächlich von Kohlezügen genutzt werden. Viele Reisende nutzen diese Station nicht, und so fahren die Schnellzüge und einige Eilzüge ohne Halt durch den Bahnhof durch. Einer davon ist Sp 1678 "Cyklo Ohře" von Karlovy Vary/Karlsbad nach Cheb/Eger gezogen von 242 213, der am 11. August 2024 mit hoher Geschwindigkeit die Bahnsteige passiert.
