LRV 992

            LRV 992 19992. Leyland PD2/12/MCW at Alton 17-7-22. One of 4 of a batch of 25 for Portsmouth Corporation in 1956 later converted to open top for tourist work. Passed to Transit Holdings who used her in Southsea and later Oxford before passing to Stagecoach Devon in 1997 painted in Stagecoach stripes livery and used in Torbay area numbered 992. Now painted in traditional Devon General open top livery with national number 19992.
