            The "Glorieta Pass" was formerly BNSF No. 77 and previously to that was Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe  No.77 and No. 3914.  The car ran as a baggage car, but was rebuilt to serve as a power car for use on BNSF business trains. In this 2010 photograph, the car, with four other BNSF business train cars, had just arrived into St. Paul's Amtrak Station from the west, pulled by the Empire Builder train. The busines cars are awaiting to be disconnected form the Empire Builder. 

The car is named for the mountain pass in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico.  Glorieta Pass is a natural route into the Rio Grande Valley from the east.
