The monastery Holy Mother of God (Sveta Bogorodica) consists of four churches: two dedicated to the Nativity of St. Mary (one old in a cave and one new), a Church dedicated to Sts. Peter and Paul and one church dedicated to St. Athanasius the Great (in a cave).
There is a special icon at this place, where the Holy Mother of God is painted as a black Madonna (Crna Bogorodica), with a black face and clothing, holding the Black Jesus in her hands.
