            Sorry I have been keeping up lately. I've been super busy and only getting out occasionally. Anyway I hope to catch up on all your great posts that I've been missing. And here's one of mine that I hope you enjoy. 

This is a Dunlin in non-breeding plumage taken at Barnegat Light jetty. They make a great subject, since they are pretty easy to approach. With birds, you often have to act quickly and take what you get. In this case, I could move around and play with the composition. I decided the blue of the out of focus water made the best background in this case.
