            The best shot I have of the white chest markings. This is a wild Tasmanian Devil not in a sanctuary. It visited a supplementary feeding station at a remote location. Sightings are never guaranteed. No flash is permitted. You shoot with a basic outside lamp whatever the time of night. The night I shot this two other photographers didn’t see any devils. It’s all about patience and luck.  Because I needed to shoot as wide open as I reasonably could I used the 100mm macro lens and used a speed of 1/160 at ISO16,000. Here the TD has paused at the top of a slope before coming down. Once it started moving 1/160s was really too slow but everything was a compromise for the lack of light.
