I used the more extreme end of my 70-300 to help compress the layers of hills across the Lockyer Valley in Queensland when I went to visit my parents in Toowoomba. This view was taken from Picnic Point, Toowoomba just before sunrise.

Single RAW file processed in Capture NX2, with finishing touches in Photoshop CS3. No HDR.
