SUNSET AURORA (for which I fell from a tree)

            ꒌ   САМО ТРИНАЕСТ МИНУТА после заласка сунца, вечерње руменило над Јадранским морем показује тотални колоритни контраст дану који је цео протекао у ветровитом сивилу ниске облачности и узалудном ишчекивању кише. Фотограф је закаснио на залазак, случајно видео овај призор јер се није надао да на самом крају дана може бити процепа у дебелом облачном своду преко целог неба и то баш на месту заласка сунца.

► █░▓    Was this sunset aurora worth falling from a tree? I started climbing to get a better view and at my first step up fell down to the ground. Kept camera horizontal until it hit the ground. 
Tried better luck on a stone fence and didn't fall that time. The G9 kept working. 
The entire day behind the sea shore at Šibenik inland was overcast, unpredictable, murky and windy. I was late for the very sunset not even imagining that there was a split opening in the cloud ceiling that would show it. Just ten minutes after the sun sank at 241° Southwest, I saw this light and rushed for the camera. Three minutes later and I made this shot. Follow the line to the light as the crow flies, and after 23 km you'll reach the Adriatic coast, after 43 km the stunning Kornati archipelago and after 185 km the Italian side of the coast at the town of Porto San Giorgio.

To understand what this land is like, imagine that at 20 km distance from here at Skradin town there is already a huge marina with classy yachts where we had excellent restaurant dinner yesterday. At dusk today however I made my first short solo hike from the edge of the village into the bushes. The hike was brought to an abrupt end after less than a mile when I recognized what I thought were wolf's traces on the ground (actually jackal's tracks). The fur of the slaughtered sheep lay scattered around. Also the tracks of the wild boar were visible at places. The time walking back to reach the first homes was markedly shorter. The jackals are obviously patrolling around the village regularly. I heard them howl at night. There are few men and dogs in the village and no guns. 

Camera jpeg edited. The Haze Removal filter in Affinity Photo 1.10.5 has brought up some red color and detail in the sky but increased the noise and altered the color of the clouds from natural grey into a blueish tint.
