Tele Fever - a photo on Flickriver

Tele Fever

            Was too late for Tele Tuesday and early for Tele Thursday, but hey, let's give my Telecaster, named Haruna, some attention nonetheless.

I added the ashtray bridge cover just yesterday, but had to file down the pickguard cos it didn't fit for some odd reason. A lot of people don't like the ashtray bridge cover, but I like the looks (for now)... and yes, I got it for the looks, not for shielding purposes, because in spite of this being single coil pickups, I am not having too much humming issues (again... for now).

Haruna is the first ever Tele I own and is the latest addition to my family of guitars. She was supposed to be a butterscotch Tele, but this vintage cream color spoke to me when I was shopping for a Tele when the Tele fever got to me... since you know... I'm more of an Epiphone/Gibson fan and their SG/Les Paul lines.

Thus, that is 3 simple modifications I have done to Haruna since I got her last April 1, just to make her feel more personal; along with the ashtray bridge cover, I changed the string tree to a disc shaped one, and I changed the notorious telecaster jack cup for a Les Paul rectangular jack plate. Not sure if it clear in the pic lol.
