When we lived in Connecticut, I took early morning walks, mostly to the nearby state park. But frequently on Sundays, when the town was mostly deserted, I'd explore New London. I always found something interesting, usually windowscapes, buildings, signs, etc.

One time, however, I came across a little house sculpture (lower center of photo) that someone had put in a crumbly corner of an old building. Don't know who or why. It was still there when I went back some time later, which wasn't too surprising since it was on a backstreet with mostly boarded up buildings. Still, the next time I happened by, it was gone.
