Appropriately bedecked in green!

            A green coat of paint to signify this old pubs past name, The Forristers Arms, later becoming the Foresters Arms, on Uttoxeter Road in Longton.
The first mention of a pub on this site dates back to 1856, and was evidently shortly afterwards listed as belonging to a beer seller and brick maker. The property was licensed until 1920.
It is currently occupied by B & B Kitchens and stands on the corner of Landon Street.
