Poisonous beauty.

            The beautiful white flowers of Wood Anemone (Anemone nemerosa) carpet the ground of the woods at Consall Nature Park on a sunny Spring day in late March.
These plants, also called Windflower and Thimbleweed are poisonous, causing severe skin irritation, vomiting, mouth ulcers, along with gastric and intestinal irritation.
