Cruising past a piece of history.

            A narrowboat cruises down the Trent and Mersey canal at Middleport, and passes the old Middleport calcining mill, whose square kiln can be seen towards the right of the building above the roof. This is a grade II listed building and sits beside the old Port Vale Mill, both historical relics of our industrial past.
