AA MOTOR SERVICES Ltd. EHJ29X

            EHJ29X was a Scania BRH112DH / Marshall H78F new in April 1980 as a demonstrator for SAAB-Scania. It ran for CIE in Eire as their DS1 (405UZ0) from new until April 1982. It went on loan to AA Members Dodd's of Troon from December 1984 until actually purchased in June 1985. This view shows it at Boswell Park Bus Station in Ayr in it's all-over cream livery. It later ran as an allover advert for the Forum Shopping Centre in Irvine. It was given a major rebuild in August 1990 using some Alexander body parts which radically altered it's appearance and it finally received fleet livery at this time. It was cannibalised for spares in 1994 with it's engine and gearbox being fitted to E77RCS and the remains were taken by Trevor Wigley (dealer) of Carlton in October 1994.
