Excited to Be There - a photo on Flickriver

            A scene from the Woman's March in Topeka--2017.  I asked this charming little girl if I could take her picture, and I'll let you guess what her response was.  There were a lot of little girls here, and quite a few boys as well.  It makes one hopeful about the future: girls learning their place is NOT only in the home,  and boys learning this lesson too.

For those unaware, the comment about grizzlies concerned Trump's candidate for education secretary.  When asked about guns in school, she replied that she supposed that they might be necessary in Wyoming "to protect from potential grizzlies."  Holy Cow!  When was the last time a home economics class was interrupted by a grizzly?  I don't know the answer, but it would probably be "never?"  Trump can really pick the winners, can't he?
