Electric Blue

            My wife and I just returned from a fabulous week in Rocky Mountain National Park.  We saw lots of little ones including our first moose calf.  While the photos of it may not be the best as it was well hidden in the willows with mom, it was still quite the thrill to see it.

I was hiking around one morning when I saw a flash of blue.  This gorgeous male mountain bluebird allowed me to follow it around as it went from perch to perch.  It would wait and pose, fly to the next perch and do the same thing.  We did this dance for about ten minutes or so, both of us enjoying the chase.  Thanks so much for the show!
