Lear's Legendary Legacy - a photo on Flickriver

            It has often been said that all good things must come to an end. 
Such is the case with the Learjet family. The last of the 3,058 examples built, a Learjet 75, was delivered from Wichita, Kansas to Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 28, 2022. 

It all began with the first flight of a Lear Jet 23 on October 7, 1963. The first customer aircraft was delivered on October 13, 1964. Almost 58 years later, production of this iconic design has ended. 

N405GJ, a Gates Learjet 35A, was caught on approach to runway 10 at Princess Juliana International Airport in Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten.
