One of two lifers for me this year, the other one was a Subalpine Warbler, shown here as well two weeks ago.
Both species are listed on Avibase as "rare/accidental" for the Canary Islands.
Maybe they were blown there by the strong Calima, the hot sandstorm from Sahara, that hit the islands by end of February.
