Built 1970 as an HAS.1 but converted to HAS.2 status in February 1979. Converted again in 1986, becoming an HAS.5. Retired in 1992 and became an instructional airframe at RNAS Culdrose in 1994.
In June 2017 she was moved (by helicopter) to the School of Flight Deck Operations (SFDO) fire pits at nearby Predannack, for fire and rescue training.
This photo was taken with a long lens from a public footpath which passes across the edge of the airfield.
