Aldershot is a community in Nova Scotia, Canada, in Kings County. A quasi-suburb of Kentville, Aldershot developed as a farming community along the Cornwallis Valley Railway branchline of the Dominion Atlantic Railway in the 19th century.

... once a year they had to report to Aldershot Camp, sleep in a tent and live the life of a soldier for a few weeks. They first had their training near Aylesford where the camp was then located and later at the site of the current Aldershot Camp. The first hammer was proofed c. 1905 - the ERD for the first hammer is - 18 September 1905.
