It might seem like a minor issue snappers being stopped on regular basis by Police Officers and security guards while taking pictures generally in public places. But every time we give up a ounce of liberty in the cause of supposed "Safety" we need to be very careful.
The right to take pictures in public is a basic part of freedom of speech. There is a large amount of irony in the authorities and private firms that have littered our land with CCTV cameras complaining about members of the public taking there own pictures.
Also the moment an" incident" occurs they are happy that photographer of all kinds have snapped away, We all want to be safe and understand the tricky job the Police do in helping ensure this but giving up our freedoms piecemeal isn't the way forward.
