A March for Community Investment

            In Chicago we have seen our public schools closed, mental health clinics shuttered and affordable housing torn down. Historic and continued disinvestment from our neighborhoods, especially in Black and Brown communities, has resulted in more  street and domestic violence. 

Governor Rauner and Rahm Emanuel have made things worse. Lifesaving programs such as Ceasefire, Teen Reach, summer jobs, and many others have been drastically cut or eliminated entirely.
