            I finally submitted my photographs (at the last minute) to the JRNY Magazine world travel photography awards competition. This year they allowed 10 photo submissions, where last year was only 5. It’s a hard process to select photos for a competition. I don’t think any of these will win (or be short-listed), but it was a good exercise none the less. I wish I had given myself more time to edit/select. I focused on shots from my last two international trips (which was a lot of photos), Turkey and Cuba. I’ve published a couple of these before, but most are “fresh.” First two are Istanbul. Second two are Cappadocia. The next three are again in Istanbul. Lastly are two from Havana and one from Trinidad, Cuba.
