San Felipe Springs Gambusia (male) - gambuisia clarkhubbsi

            A few years ago I got the bright idea that I would take a 10G aquarium with me to San Felipe springs in Del Rio and do some dip netting with my runts. When I got there, I filled it with the spring water and put in a few plants, cleaned the glass and started netting. When I got a new spps. of fish, aquatic bug or crayfish, I would put it in the tank and take a few pictures. Unfortunately, the glare from the sun that day ruined most of the shots.I kept a few though and this was one of them. This little guy was about 1 -2 inches long. This little guy was immediately released where he was found.
