Perched on a cliff

            This isn't the greatest picture since the foreground is in complete shadow and the background is in full sun. But you get the idea here. This is the old Historic Columbia River Highway where it goes around Tooth Rock. When they built the highway, they perched it on the edge of the cliff. The eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 actually pass under this spot in a tunnel right before the Eagle Creek exit. As you enter the tunnel if you look up you can see the old highway above. Very cool!
