Lineas 186-184-1 at Werkplaats Tractie Antwerpen, April 23, 2023v

            On Sunday April 24 I had the opportunity to visit the Werkplaats Tractie Antwerpen in the Antwerp harbor. In this shop Lineas (the Belgian freight operator) and NMBS engines are maintained. The shop also sometimes does work for other operators.
For a railfan there's a lot to see here. Amongst the highlights were NMBS Benelux engines 2812 and 2808, the new Certus engines (former NMBS 27 class) and the many 186 class engines in the yard.
The visit was supervised by an authorized NMBS employee.
