Ambassador of the Plains Statue (Kingfisher, Oklahoma)

            Bronze statue of Jesse Chisholm sitting on a horse and holding a peace pipe in downtown Kingfisher, Oklahoma.  The 15 ft tall statue was sculpted by John Gooden in 2007.  Jesse Chisholm was a Scotch-Cherokee fur trader and merchant in the American West.  The Chisholm Trail was named after him. 

The monument was an official project of the Oklahoma Centennial Commemoration.
