Colonie EMS 619 (Mass Casualty Incident Support Unit)

This was a 1972 step-van that was later re-numbered to 670. In 2000/2001 it was replaced with the much larger unit pictured below (Squad 670). This vehicle was then used by the Menands FD as a fire police unit. It was completely rehabbed inside and out (new light bar, paint job, lettering etc). Sadly, it was involved in a fatal accident while responding to an MVA. A Fire Police officer was killed and the unit completely destroyed.
