UPDATE Jan 2015: I've been using the Leica 50mm Summilux for a year on the Sony A7 and have long sold off these three 50's in the photo. Not to detract away from how good these other offerings are, but the 50 Lux is a 50/1.4 that performs among the very best available, has gorgeous rendering (albeit very modern and clinical), covers the full-frame sensor, can zone focus AND is small and light. No AF of course being a RF lens.

I finally caved in and bought the X-Pro1 on discount the other day. It feels substantial, yet quite light, and the image quality is phenomenal. Autofocus performance is quite decent with the new firmware. Overall, I feel quite enamoured with 50mm's to now possess that field of view on no less than three different formats (and I don't even own that many lenses overall)! Noctilux on the way, I spose'? I kid I kid. :)

But I will most likely sell the 5D III once Sony releases a full-frame NEX sometime next year. For now, I will say that the Fuji X-system is shaping up to be the ultimate system for lightweight travel.
