Royal Tweed bridge DSC_7705 - a photo on Flickriver

            Berwick upon Tweed shot taken from Tweedmouth end of the new bridge (built in 1927) showing one of the Towns war memorials, and in the main frame is our Old bridge that celebrates 400 years old  built in 1624, this replaced an old wooden bridge, at the end of the bridge is Berwick, and either side you can see the town walls built 1558, The Town hall clock can be seen top left and the Quayside to the right, a lot of the buildings around town are Regency, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, and modern so quite a mix,
If you ever pay the town a visit please take time and go into the Berwick Visitor Centre, that os on Walker Gate,
