Boletus mushroom (xerocomellus chrysenteron)

            It's said that they are commonly found under deciduous trees, most commonly with beech and oak.  I've never found them in those types of areas.  This area probably had ash at one time but the trees are mostly Cedar and Doug fir with some downed Spruce.  This is from a 21 image stack and my camera settings were influenced by the canopy (heavy canopy) and the darkish/nonreflective cap.
