What Do We Do Now That You Are Gone...

            The Detroit City Council was in such a hurry to demolish this building ( with the exception of Martha Reeves, who 1 month later had no idea that the demolition she had approved in her vote had started 4 weeks prior ) that they neglected to pay the proper respect to this historic site. An empty field with the plaza gates still standing but that's it. No historic plaque ( it's a national historic site ), no sign of future developments, nothing. Shame on you City Council. That might be why most of you were either voted out or are now facing charges. Our city and it's past glory deserve better.
