214/365 - Lonesome Lake, Morning

            Going back over the vacation photos, I apparently didn't take too many shots on Wednesday, which consisted mostly of our hike back down from Lonesome Lake and time spent visiting Littleton, NH and soaking in the hot tub at the place we were borrowing. Guess this picture of Lonesome Lake, perfectly still in the morning, with a cloud hovering over Mounts Lincoln and Lafayette in the background, will have to do (even with the sky a bit blown out.) 

Even though I was shooting with my "walking around" lens, I used some of the same composition elements I was picking up from using the ultra-wide-angle.

Nikon D7000 w/Nikkor 18-200mm, 1/30s @ ƒ/22, ISO200.  Tonemapped in Photomatix Pro to bring out some detail in the treeline.
