Abandoned Lockheed Vega (Replica) - Aviator Health Club - Floyd Bennett Field b

            This full-scale replica of a Lockheed Vega served as an advertising icon for a local health club.  By the time I saw it, in 2009, it was off its display pole.  A more recent photo shows mangled bits and pieces at the HARS Museum; I don't think it exists anymore.  The HARS folks were constructing a replica of their own,the Winnie Mae. That one is now finished, and it's a beauty.
