            The temple walls have been partially destroyed by the Nile, earthquakes, and later builders who used stones for other projects. As regards the light, this double row of columns can be  regarded as being indoor....

The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, and the northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris ("Horus the Elder")
