Finish & After: NYD Great Field parkrun 6/6

            Photos taken at the 2025 The Great Field New Year's Day parkrun. 349 runners took part despite absolutely appalling weather. Most events in the UK were cancelled both on New Years Eve and New Year's Day itself because the weather was so atrocious, with dangerously strong winds. The Great Field parkrun was an exception as the location is relatively safe from extreme weather, not being near the coast and being clear of any flying debris. It was a real challenge for us - there was very little natural light and it actually got darker as the run progressed.  We were nearly blown over a couple of times and it was almost impossible to keep the camera still!
